The jury for Spectrum 16 will consist of:

Call For Entries posters will start to be mailed at the end of October/early November. There is still time to have your name added to our mailing list: just drop us an e-mail or postcard to our P.O. Box. Printable entry forms and information will, of course, be posted here at the same time the posters are mailed out so you won't need the forms included with the poster to participate.

It might be a good time to point a few things out again for returning participants, and maybe eliminate some misconceptions faced by those contributing for the first time:

Everyone is welcome — Old pros, students, dabblers, international creators: it's all an even playing field. We try to keep the proceedings anonymous and the jurors vote independently without discussion: names don't matter, how the judges react to the art does. A plurality of votes from the jury gets an entry in the book. Simple as that.

Every work that's entered goes before the jury — Nothing is pre-screened.

There are no additional fees — Beyond the entry fee (which has not changed in 15 years and goes to offset the expense of the competition), work selected for inclusion in the book is not subject to additional fees for publication.

Naturally, these items apply to submissions following the rules outlined generally on our FAQ page. Specific rules for the competition will appear on the forms posted here and mailed out in late October. If your question still isn't answered at that time, feel free to drop us an e-mail!
